The Synopsys Silicon Valley Science and Technology Championship (Synopsys Science Fair) is an annual event in downtown San Jose that ignites the passion for science and innovation in young minds. Each year, over 800 middle and high school students of Santa Clara Valley showcase their inspiring projects, competing for recognition and scholarships. The Fair is managed by a volunteer board, as the Santa Clara Valley Science and Engineering Fair Association (SCVSEFA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
